About Anxiety and Stress

​Feeling anxious is a normal response to stressful life events. If you suffer from an anxiety disorder, however, you have intense feelings of panic and worry that interfere with your daily life activities. When intense feelings of worry and panic feel out of proportion to a life event, last a long time and interfere with daily activities, an anxiety disorder is the likely cause. Anxiety disorders can occur at any time in your life.   Therapy can help you recognize your stress triggers and develop appropriate coping strategies.
